Hi! My name is Gabriela, but you can call me “Gaby”. I am from Colombia and my native language is Spanish. I am a passionate, kind, responsible and charismatic woman. I love everything related to music and animals. I am very expressive and communicative, but I especially consider that I am a good listener. I like listening to the opinions and feelings of others.
I chose to become a teacher because since I was a child I discovered that I love to transmit knowledge to others; and because I like to connect with people, share experiences and support each other.عني كمعلّم
I have a bachelor degree in English as a foreign language teaching. I’m a teacher since 2018, and I have taught to kids, teenagers, and adults. Teaching is something that I really love, so I will make you feel comfortable and happy in my classes. As a teacher, I like to observe and listen to my students' needs in order to prepare fun and conversational classes.
On the other hand, I’m an English learner, therefore I understand how hard it can be to learn a new language. For that reason, I will be patient with you. If you make a mistake, I will correct you and give you the tools or tips to practice and improve your Spanish.دروسي وأسلوب تدريسي
My classes are fun, dynamic and focused on the different skills of a language (speaking, listening, writing and reading). In addition, I like to use websites, news, music, movies, games, and podcasts in my classes. When I have a new student, I like to listen to them and get to know what they want and what their needs are. Based on this, I prepare my classes to give them personalized attention.

البكالوريوس - Licenciatura en Lengua Extranjera InglésEstudié en la universidad Santo Tomás de Colombia en la modalidad a distancia. Terminé de manera exitosa mis estudios, con un promedio alto, lo cual me permitió obtener un diploma honorifico "Cum Laude"

I have been taking lesson from Gabriel for quite some time now and I can't imagine anyone not having a positive learning experience with her. She is very energetic, positive, and always concentrating on how to help your spanish speech. She is wise beyond her years in knowing the right balance between real time corrections and keeping the conversation flow going. On top of everything else, she is super fun and engaging with our conversations. HIGHLY recommended.

Gabriela is still the most talkative and active teacher of all!) We talked a lot today in our class, about salsa dance, our favorite song from La Oreja de Van Gogh, and about her cousin)) Looking forward to our next class! ---- Gabriela sigue siendo la profesora más habladora y activa de todas!) Hablamos mucho hoy en nuestra clase, sobre el baile de salsa, nuestra canción favorita de La Oreja de Van Gogh, y sobre su prima)) Esperamos con ansias nuestra próxima clase!

Gaby is so lovely! She makes you feel instantly comfortable. She speaks clearly and at a level that is easy to understand. Our time seemed to go by way too quickly! I'll definitely be scheduling another lesson with her.

Gabriela is a fantastic teacher! She always has a great attitude and spirit about her and makes learning fun. It's been a wonderful experience taking lessons from her, and I feel like I've already made some solid progress in a short amount of time.

Today we discussed about things that are happening in the world. And lastly, we talked about the song "Jueves" by La Oreja de Van Gogh, and the story behind it. Another wonderful class!
