Hi everyone. I was born and raised up in Korea, graduated with a Bachelor's in psychology.
I lived in Europe for 5 years, graduated with a master's degree in cognitive science.
I speak English fluently and I'm very friendly, supportive, chill and patient person😊. You will feel very comfortable in my lesson even if you are very shy!
I've learned English in Korea and I'm learning German so I understand your point of view as a new language learner.
Interest/hobby: psychology, language, art, piano, science, history, international politics, photography.

I have been teaching Korean for years already.
My specialty is pronunciation and Hangul. you can learn the alphabet very fast and get good pronunciation from the beginning. you will understand people faster, and people will understand you well if you learn with me😊 (with tips based on linguistics, and experiences)
I can offer an organized(general Korean) lessons and casual lessons(conversation).
I am not only teaching you just grammar and vocabulary but also in which context you can use them naturally, helping you how to make good pronunciation, and training your listening skills. I try my best to cover all the things you need for communicating with others.دروسي وأسلوب تدريسي
You can design your lesson in the way you want and need, but I have a suggestion if you don't have specific things you want to do.
[What you can get from my lesson]
- Useful expression(slang or funny and often used)
- Korean culture (misunderstanding, cliche, about food and how people act)
- language learning(grammar, listening, speaking,)

Typically, in one hour lesson, 40min of conversation and 20 min feedback.
- I give you other options which might sound natural
- correct your mistake yourself
I mostly use my own presentation slides for teaching, so you don't have to prepare books but if you have it, we can have a look together :)

Qualification for Korean Language teacher - National Institute of the Korean Language - 2024this certificate requires 100 hours of lectures and 20 hours of internship. In addition, the applicant must pass 2 national exams organized by official national institution.
It is a official document recognized by the Korean government

Hansoo is a very good and responsible teacher I've met. Even though this is an extracurricular course, I must say that hansoo prepares more and organises personalised study plan for each student. From my perspective, I want to learn more Korean culture and related life-oriented spoken language in this course. Hansoo also integrates my thinking into his class and gives me a lot of different local and new views. For me, a good teacher is one who is nice, well organised, professional, loves to teach and feels really happy when teaching. Hansoo is the teacher who I think fits all of the above. If you also want to find a good teacher, please do not hesitate to ask for an audition.

The best teacher that cater to a student's need. I have always enjoyed every single lesson. Learning the difficult language with difficult structures has its moments . You get saturated and run into stumbling block at times, but Hansoo made it so fun, and he does not mind repeating what he already taught.
I do not feel pressured with my own progress as I can set my own goals. My best moments would be having to go over some conversations in a current k-drama I have been watching that has no subtitles on, and translating it together gives our session a different kick every time.

I cannot possibly say enough good things about Hansoo, he's a phenomenal teacher (선생님). He's super organized, has lots of great resources at hand, answers my questions in the exact amount of detail I want, is willing to go out in the weeds with me and elaborate on things. If you're looking for a star of a Korean teacher, look no further!
