Hello, my name is Terry. I have a Mandarin Proficiency Certificate and a Teaching Certificate, so I can teach you authentic spoken Chinese.
With my experience in learning English and Japanese, I understand the challenges language learners might face, such as pronunciation issues, confusing vocabulary meanings, and shaky grammar. I hope to help you overcome these problems in my classes.
I am a positive and optimistic person. In my classes, you don’t need to be afraid of making mistakes. I will correct you and teach you the proper way to express yourself.عني كمعلّم
I have six months of teaching experience, with students ranging from 20 to 70 years old. I have also helped learners by answering questions in online Chinese communities. I can see significant progress in my students after just a few lessons, which makes me happy.دروسي وأسلوب تدريسي
I offer speaking classes, where I will prepare topics for you to choose from, or you can let me know in advance what topics you would like to discuss.

What I really like about this teacher is that if I want to talk about a specific topic, the questions she prepares are actually interesting (not the usual, obvious, textbook ones!).

First lessons can be challenging, but Terry did a great job of assessing my level and providing me with helpful material right away. She sent me all of the notes and helpful new words from our lesson for me to use.
