Italki 2022 Top 1% French Teacher🇫🇷. My name is Florence and I was born in Paris. I have been living in the US for almost 30 years and while I was spent most of my professional life in finance, I ended my career of Senior Financial Controller at FreddieMac as a Chief Happiness Officer. I started to give French online lessons when Covid arrived in this country and taught to beginners as well as intermediate students.عني كمعلّم
My preferred approach to teaching French is that is should be fun, stressless and focused on giving students a level of fluency so that they have the confidence to handle a conversation. While reading and writing is important, being able to communicate in a foreign language is from far, in my view, the most satisfying and rewarding aspect.دروسي وأسلوب تدريسي
My lessons are non-formal and usually based on magazine articles, current stories covering a wide spectrum of topics from entertainment to sport and breaking news. Flo is a wonderful conversationalist. She invites you into her world which makes for an authentic experience while speaking la lange française. She is friendly and genuine and lets one relax during the conversation which seems to pass way too quickly.

Wonderful first lesson! Flo was very interested in my goals. She helped me to feel a little more at ease through a role-playing exercise. We covered a lot of ground in just 30 minutes. I'm looking forward to the next lesson!
