A native speaker of Korean, currently living in Singapore. Back in Korea, I started my teaching career in high school as a certified public teacher. After getting married, I moved to Hong Kong in 2016.
Moving to HK was an unexpected turning point in my life: I've never known I would live in a foreign country! As a foreigner, but as a Korean teacher, I fortunately continue my teaching career in HK.
(After spending more than seven years in Hong Kong, I moved to Singapore in July 2023.)عني كمعلّم
1. Studied language and education in university:
majored in language and education, and studied further about language teaching for three years to get a government-issued teacher certificate (succeeded in getting the certificate in 2011).
2. Started my teaching career in high school:
for four years, I taught high school students (aged 16-18) in Gyeonggi province, Korea. Back then, I was a quite young and passionate teacher.
3. As a Korean teacher in HK and SG:
with great chances, I happened to meet various students who wanted to learn Korean for various reasons. From teaching Korean alphabet to discussing economic issues in Korean, I taught lots of students with various Korean levels.دروسي وأسلوب تدريسي

: explaining complicated language system in simple concepts is not an easy job, but it is kind of my talent

Jessie 선생님 is very chill, encouraging but also clear and concise in her teaching. She gives new vocabularies in real-time which helps me form sentences for new grammar points smoothly.
I also really enjoyed our free-flow conversation. She matched my speaking speed and level of vocabulary so I felt comfortable speaking.
