My name is Amanda Christiansen. I'm from Copenhagen and work as a Danish lecturer at the University of Vienna. I have been teaching Danish as a foreign language since 2016. I hold a B.A. in Danish (2015), a M.A. in Scandinavian Studies (2018) and a M.A. in Teaching Danish (2019) as a Second/Foreign Language for Adults. Furthermore, being quite the language learner myself I'm very aware of the challenges and manage to apply my practical learner experiences into my teaching to create a confident, mindfulll space for my students.عني كمعلّم
I am convinced that confidence, motivation and a conscious learner approach are the main driving forces for effective language acquirement. I aim for you to enjoy and get a lot out of every class, and so although I am very structured, I also always apply a positive feedback loop, to make sure that the class, our approach and the work material stays in tune with yout learning style, interests and goals.دروسي وأسلوب تدريسي
During the lesson, we will practice pronunciation and speaking, read and discover new vocabulary and grammar aspects. I ALWAYS give my students homework - a mix of reading, writing, listening tasks to practice and internalize all the new language features from our lesson.
