I was born in Sweden, but I've spent over 20 years of my life in London, England and other European countries. I am a fully qualified teacher and I have studied linguistics.
I've had the opportunity to live in six different countries, which has fueled my love for teaching and learning languages and exploring new cultures.
For most of my professional career, I've worked with languages, primarily as a translator and teacher. This is something I am truly passionate about and want to keep doing. I am currently studying myself and I have lots of experience learning and teaching languages.عني كمعلّم
I believe it is important to have fun while learning so I always try to make my lessons as enjoyable and engaging as possible. I'm a dedicated and enthusiastic teacher who is committed to helping you learn and improve your Swedish-speaking skills. Whether you're a beginner or have some experience, I'm here to create a fun and supportive learning environment just for you. As a teacher, I believe that it is very important to be flexible and adapt your way of teaching to the student’s needs. My classes are focused on improving conversational skills but I can also help beginners learn the basics of the Swedish language. I have experience in helping students with exams.
Backed by extensive studies (mainly linguistics) and 3 teaching qualifications along with years of experience, I've mastered various teaching methods. This was both my first lesson with Mina and on iTalki. In the beginning we had some minor technical issues which delayed the start, but after that everything went well. Whenever I didn't know a word or expression in Swedish, Mina provided me both the said and written translation so I know both in the future.
