My name is Mari.
I have 10 years of experience as a Japanese teacher, both online and face-to-face.
I have a great passion for travelling, learning new things and meeting new people. I love to teach and share my experience with students.
My interests are cooking, discovering new food, reading books, watching anime and movies. Also love nature, animals.عني كمعلّم
I am a kind, responsible and patient teacher.
My 10 years of experience as a Japanese teacher have allowed me to create a fast and efficient method for students to learn Japanese.
I understand that every students is different and that each student has different goals and capabilities.
I aim to use each lesson as an opportunity to help you improve your language skills, but still personalize the lesson to your capabilities.

The first step is to get to know the student's goals.
Once I assess the student's level, we can draft a study plan in order to meet the student's short and long-term goals.
The classes are 100% taught in Japanese, and my main focus is to develop student's speaking skills. I can offer purely conversational lessons or more tailored lessons where I will offer targeted activities to deepen the student's grammar, vocabulary and pronunciation skills.
I have also prepared hundreds of students for the JLPT exam with many success stories to share.
My teaching style is fun and exciting, but strict enough to be able to help you reach your goals.

Wonderful as always! I tried out a quick 30 minute session to see how I felt about it, and it was such a nice little snippet. We did a few minutes of conversation work, and then a brief lesson. I still felt like I learned a lot in that time frame!

Mari was lovely! This was our first full lesson after the trial, and I feel like I learned a lot. The environment was both challenging and welcoming, and I appreciated her teaching methods. Can't wait to book another class!

Mari-San was lovely! She was very patient and found ways to make sure I understood at least the gist of what was going on during our trial lesson. She used various sites to help illustrate her talking points, and was very thorough!
