Hello! My name is Socrates and I am 30 years old. Although I am an engineer, teaching is my passion, and I have been working as a Greek teacher for the last 5 years. In my free time, I enjoy learning foreign languages, reading books, and playing chess. Furthermore, I am interested in a large variety of topics such as music (i play the piano), history, science and I love traveling as well.عني كمعلّم
As I explain in the video introduction, my classes are custom tailored. That means, that they can be adjusted to your needs. Personally, I believe the main goal when it comes to language learning is to be able to express yourself and understand the language as much as possible. I provide classes to all levels of learners. Therefore, I can teach absolute beginners from scratch as well as advanced learners that already have a high level of Greek. In both cases, my goal is to make you speak as much as you can in Greek through various activities in a friendly and non-judgemental environment. Socrates goes above and beyond in both teaching and preparing materials for his students. I appreciate and admire his patience in teaching methodically abstract grammar concepts and at the same time, patiently coaching me to keep the conversation in Greek!

A Greek class with Socrates is a thoroughly enjoyable experience. First of all, he is extremely nice, patient and encouraging. Then over the course of our two lessons, he managed to make the best of my still very rudimentary Greek and keep the conversation going. I also really appreciate that he takes the time to record an audio of the main points of our conversation. I am sure that regular classes with Socrates is going to keep me motivated and I am looking forward to having further lessons

I've been taking lessons with Socrates for about a year and a half and my enthusiasm towards his teaching hasn't diminished one bit.
