Always a nice session with Beryl. I still have much to learn and improve upon, but I never feel scrutinized or dumb when I'm in class with her. She helps facilitate easygoing conversations with useful everyday phrases in an natural manner. I look forward to attending another class with her.

Beryl is an incredibly kind and caring 老師。The learning environment she creates is very comfortable and engaging, which is perfect when it comes to learning. With Beryl, I feel myself growing my language skills in a relaxed and natural manner. Learning never feels forced, stressful, or nerve-wracking. Beryl equips you with the tools (grammar, vocabulary, practice, etc.) for you to be successful. This is due to her patience and encouragement, as well as her creativity and careful attention in ensuring the class suits your learning style. 今天 老師 created lots of example sentences ahead of time so I could practice distinguishing when to use 不 and 沒。 Her explanation and the custom content she created was incredibly helpful. I think it really clicked. Lastly, the 功課 that she provides is immensely helpful because it helps reinforce what you have learned in previous classes. As always, it's a real joy to be able to learn 中文 with Beryl. 謝謝老師！

Beryl has helped me so much over the past few months naturally improve Mandarin speaking skills and move towards my goal of fluency! Whether we are chatting about everyday life, or more complex topics, I always leave our lesson with a sense of growth and improvement. Beryl has helped me learn local words and phrases that the textbook doesn't teach, is extremely attentive to my learning style, and always goes above and beyond to answer any questions. Beryl is seriously the best! I'm only two classes in and I'm already seeing improvements in my Chinese. Our conversations are packed with a lot of new vocabulary yet 王老師 makes sure the classes are still very engaging. I'm also learning a lot not just about the Chinese language, but also Taiwanese culture!

Beryl was so helpful! She was so calm, encouraging, and patient. I was really nervous for my first class, but she reassured me and helped guide me through the lesson with lots of positivity and kindness. I'm excited for future lessons with her!

Very fun lessons with Beryl always. She also gives ample opportunity to re use vocab that was learned in the class, which helps me cement them in my brain. Great teacher and will be back for more lessons!
