-Graduate in Journalism with a passion for language and backpacking.
-Taught Chinese in various locations,gaining familiarity with the diverse vocabulary used in different regions and a deep understanding of Chinese culture.
-Over 2 years of teaching experience on italki, employing a relaxed and engaging teaching style using various materials such as flashcards,PowerPoint presentations,games,and videos for stress-free Chinese learning.عني كمعلّم
Year 2018:
-Taught language in Ho Chi Minh City, focusing on conversation and pronunciation.
-Served as a private tutor in Nha Trang, helping a hostel owner learn Chinese for guest communication.
Year 2019:
-Volunteered in India, teaching English to children daily, overcoming resource challenges in remote areas, and occasionally engaging in language learning activities.
Year 2020 till now :

Prioritise students' learning goals and interests, aiming for a relaxed and enjoyable approach. Utilizing different elements,I create a cultural exchange environment to facilitate a more natural understanding of the Chinese language.
Students with specific objectives,such as exam or business requirements, I tailor the course content to align with their goals.

Excellent teacher! I had an amazing first class. She asked me in advance what kind of lesson I would like and she delivered exactly that. She took the time to ask more about me and my learning goals in order to better prepare future lessons. I am very happy with the lesson and looking forward to having more sessions. Highly recommend you give it a try.

It seems like my son thoroughly enjoys his classes with Laoshi Yeoh. He even asked for more classes. Laoshi Yeoh provides topics and materials that make my son excited to learn and engage in conversation with her. Currently, we are residing in Taiwan, and my son is studying here using traditional Mandarin. The effort that Laoshi Yeoh puts into creating a slideshow using traditional Mandarin is highly impressive, and as a mother, I truly appreciate it.

Xin Pei is very patient! I ask a lot of questions and she always takes time to answer and makes sure I understand her answers. She also adjusts our conversations to match my level, is patient when I forget words but also challenges me periodically with new words and terms so I'm always learning something new. I really enjoy our classes and I feel a slow but steady progress. Thank you so much!

Just completed the 1st lesson after the trial lesson with Xin Pei. 😁
Since I've stated that I aim to do the HSKK初级, she has created a plan to review and practise speaking for half an hour, then doing the mock test together for the next.
I'm able to identify my weakness and she has helped tremendously in making me understand certain parts that I wasn't clear on. 🌟

Yeoh Xin Pei always comes with a super friendly attitude and a wide range of topics and materials to talk about. The lessons always fly by, an hour feels like 10 minutes.
She has a great understanding of European / Western world, which makes for easier and richer communication and even more opportunities to "accidentally learn something new".
