Hello,
I am a native English speaker from South Africa with a neutral accent. I discovered my passion for online English tutoring and pursued a TEFL certificate to enhance my qualifications. I currently have 3 years of experience as a TEFL teacher and I am deeply inspired by the opportunity to help individuals around the world connect through the gift of language.
Having spoken English for over 20 years, I bring both native fluency and advanced language skills to the table. My university studies included a module in Academic Literacy for Commerce, which has further refined my expertise. I am excited to share my knowledge and support learners in achieving their language goals.عني كمعلّم
Students are the focus and they are catered to according to their specific needs, whether that is using Conversational English or Grammar Lessons for school work. I am a patient and kind individual who encourages others to express themselves. Learning English can be fun for students, and my aim is making them realise that, while improving their language skills.دروسي وأسلوب تدريسي
My teaching style is interactive, I encourage students to speak more than I do in lessons, not only does this mean they are unconsciously practicing conversational skills, but they are also building up their own confidence and skills at an oral level. I enjoy using props as well as posters and pictures to illustrate and emphasize points that I am trying to make. For more advanced students, there is an option of more structured lessons that will hone in on their needs and satisfying them.
