Mi chiamo Giuliana e sono madrelingua italiana. Sono un'insegnante professionista e vivo a Roma, ma sono nata e cresciuta a Manfredonia, nel Sud Italia.
Nel 2020 ho conseguito la Laurea Magistrale in "Lingua e Cultura Italiane per Stranieri" presso l'Università di Bologna.

Sono un'insegnante molto dinamica e amo la conversazione. I miei studenti devono essere pronti e disposti a mettersi in gioco, cercando di parlare il più possibile. Siamo qui per imparare, divertirci e non per essere giudicati!
Insegno italiano agli stranieri da diversi anni, sia con esperienze di volontariato sia con lezioni private.

I miei argomenti di conversazione principali sono: letteratura, viaggi, musica, attualità.
Utilizzo sia materiali reperiti sul web (interviste, video, articoli di giornale), sia il manuale "New Italian grammar in practice" di Susanna Nocchi.
Ovviamente sono aperta a utilizzare anche altri manuali di grammatica a seconda della richiesta dello studente.

10 minutes into our first lesson I knew that Giuliana is a perfect teacher for me. She is intelligent, organized, friendly, professional and yet informal, and communicates in clear, precise language. She understands the complexities and challenges that the Italian language presents for someone from an English speaking background, and she provides relevant and specific explanations and information directly addressing the issue.
Until now, I have only studied Italian using online tools and books, with no personal interaction. I had no prior expectations or plans before my lesson with Giuliana, but I was so impressed that now I hope to take classes weekly, to augment my online learning and exercises.

Honestly, if you paid for a high-priced formal Italian course, you would not get a better, more organized, more well-thought out lesson. In all of the lessons I've taken on italki (in a half dozen or so languages), I don't think I've had a teacher work harder during the lesson. When the lesson ended, I felt like I should pay a second time to make it fair!!!
