Which basically means that you have to realize how much you don't know.

I like to keep a mixture of fun and professional, in other words that I like to keep things fun and in a positive light where a joke is definitely possible. However, when it comes down to it I am serious in my desire to teach other people some of my languages and cultures.

I was a language instructor in China for ten of the eleven years that I lived there (and an adventure tour leader for one!) and have also been teaching online for over three years now. When a class is scheduled, it is part of my weekly plan and I get ready for it. I conduct a detailed journal of what I have been doing with my student, I write down every session, thus it is easy for me to check what we did on our past sessions. I used to teach more conventionally, meaning with my students being in the same room as me. In 2021 I started using Skype for my classes and things work out very well. I am always punctual as I respect the time my students take for our class, likewise I do appreciate if my students do the same.
