Learning a language should be fun! I am a professional French, English and Russian teacher, I have a DAEFLE qualification (teaching French as a foreign language) from the Alliance Française, a Bachelor in Humanities, a PGCE and a TEFL. I have been teaching since 2010. I love teaching online because this gives me the opportunity to get to know people from all over the world and share my knowledge with them. My lessons are always fun, interactive and tailor-made.

J'essaie de m'adapter à tes besoins pour que le cours soit utile pour toi. J'utilise souvent les 5 ou 10 dernières minutes du cours pour faire un bilan des erreurs principales que j'ai entendues pendant la conversation et te faire répéter les mots que tu as eu du mal à prononcer.

After more than 2 year teaching on iTalki and more than 2000 lesson taught, I have seen all types and profiles of students, with different mothertongues, interests , levels. I also have helped several students to work on their DELF and DALF exams, from A2 to C2. They all passed. No matter your purpose : to start learning a new language, to practice more something that you know, to refresh your memory from lessons you had in high school. Learning to Speak, Speaking to Learn Most students I meet on italki look for an online teacher because they want to be able to actually speak French, and not just “learn things about the French language”. My view is that when teaching a language, speaking should always have the highest priority. I know that eventually my students want to learn French to engage in meaningful conversations and enjoy doing it. And I know that for that, they need a pronunciation that people will praise them for, they need to say things the right way (which means using the right grammar and syntax), overall they need to feel confident about their French, and they need a lot of speaking practice.
