Qualified teacher with over 20 years experience I have always loved languages and have learnt them from an early age as a child. This was my main motivation to become a teacher over 20 years ago. Apart from teaching I have also spent time contracting to a language school based at one of the universities in Auckland to develop teaching materials for new teachers to help them on their teacher training journey. I completed my Master of Education with First Class Honours which I believe enhances my knowledge about education in general and also my teaching practice.

I am a professional teacher of English and Hungarian language and culture, I have a masters degree. I have five years teaching experience, I started teaching during my university studies. I am a freelancer, a self employed teacher. I teach in multinational companies and private students. I also teach on Skype. I teach mainly adults one to one or in small groups (maximum six members). I teach both English and Hungarian A0-C1 levels, I teach grammar, vocabulary, skills development (reading, writing, speaking, listening), business English and business English skills development and prepare students for the Hungarian citizenship exam.

Hungarian: citizenship interview preparation/general teaching, German: grammar/communication/exams I am an open-minded and curious teacher who is eager to learn as much as possible about people and the world. This means that I will be genuinely interested in whatever interests you! :) For me, communication is key when learning a language, so I will encourage you to speak as much as possible - if that is what you want. If you'd rather focus on grammar, listening, or anything else, of course, we can do that. In our first meeting, we’ll discuss your goals, and we will work towards them. In my video, I describe in detail how I teach. However, I am quite flexible regarding my teaching style, so if you think that another approach would benefit you more, I'm open to other methods as well!

Although I'm a community tutor, I work as a professional teacher with my own method. If you are a beginner, I can teach you the strange Hungarian letters and pronunciation. Then we'll start practising simple, everyday phrases. I will speak slowly and clearly. And I'll try to explain everything in English or French. Even if you are advanced, it will be important for you that I speak in a clear and articulate way. I can correct your grammar and your pronunciation as well. I hope that you will become more and more confident with me. I can also help you with the simplified naturalisation process.

I can show you how to learn such hard language more easily and while having fun! I am very patient, which is the most crucial par of teaching in my opinion, and I'm also quick to adapt to people's needs and paces, because, let's be honest, everyone learns differently. I believe that learning a new language is not about books and home works but rather interactive and fun-based conversations, which is what I try to provide for my students. Also, I personally think that the constant use of cursing in any language is a sign of a person's lack of vocabulary. Therefore, I try to increase my students vocabulary without the use of cursing words.
