CEDILS Certified Italian teacher with over 8 years of experience. I have a degree in Law, a Master in Development, and a certification in teaching Italian to foreigners (CEDILS) from the University of Venezia. I have been teaching Italian for 8 years to students from different nationalities at two International Schools and through private lessons. I taught children, teenagers, and adults from beginners to advanced level. My students described me as a warm and empathetic person and they enjoyed learning with me in a relaxed atmosphere.

Since 2 years I have been teaching Italian in cross-cultural contexts, to people coming from all over the world. Languages are my passion. I like also history, geography, art, music and movies as well. If you share the same passions, we can talk about them during our lessons.

I have a communicative approach to teaching, i.e. I like to focus on the student's ability to communicate and get their message across, and I like to involve them in real meaningful conversations. Having said that, I still think proper form matters, so I will provide feedback on grammar and pronunciation as well. I'm a language student myself, so I can empathize with the struggle, and I strive to make our classes fun and enjoyable!

When I teach offline, every activity, from the one to one lesson to the workshop, from the board game to the Apulian tour, is based on missions to accomplish. Students learn Italian with Karaoke, role plays (would you like to be Pavarotti for few hours?), Italian recipes, cappuccinos to ask in a cafè, treasure-huntings around the city.
