I’m a native English speaker learning Russian, and I’ve had about 12 lessons with Dustin so far. I’m genuinely impressed with the progress I’ve made, and it’s all thanks to him. His knowledge of both the Russian language and culture is outstanding, and he has a real talent for explaining even the most challenging concepts in a way that makes them click. Russian grammar can be incredibly tricky, and it’s easy to get frustrated, but Dustin is patient, encouraging, and makes everything much easier to understand. Every lesson is engaging, well-structured, and enjoyable. He has made learning Russian faster, easier, and a lot more fun. I highly recommend him to anyone looking for an exceptional Russian tutor.

You can clearly tell she has a lot of experience because she explains things in a simple, clear way and makes learning feel easy and comfortable. She was incredible. She asked me probing questions to find out exactly what my level was, and it took less than 5 minutes. There was absolutely no wasted time, and every minute of the lesson was filled with information. She is very talented at teaching.

Just had another great Russian lesson with Maria today! She is honestly a brilliant teacher—so helpful, patient, and really good at making the tricky parts of the language easy to understand. We focused a lot on the weather and adjectives today, and I feel like I learned a ton of new stuff. We went over how to describe different days, whether it's humid, rainy, sunny, or windy, and she showed me exactly how to switch between adjectives and adverbs depending on the sentence. We also spent some time on noun genders—masculine, feminine, and neuter—and how adjectives need to match them, which cleared up a lot of confusion for me. On top of that, we covered the seasons and some really practical vocabulary, like how to say you're putting on layers of clothes when it gets cold. Maria always includes useful everyday phrases too, like how to ask her to repeat something formally or informally. I highly recommend her if you're trying to learn Russian, she's fantastic!

Yana is excellent. The classes are always useful and fun. When you have more detailed/nerdy questions about words and semantics Yana is at ease, patient and never will say "this is not what we intended to do today". Between two lessons, besides homework, Yana gives additionnal material (songs, clips, etc). Also this addtionnal material is useful.

Andy is very helpful. Presentations are always prepared, and he also gives homework which helps to refresh memory between lessons. Although my Russian is not as good yet, the words he uses are easy for me to understand and if I don't know a word, he writes it in chat for to refer to later. His English is also very good, so if something is truly misunderstood, he can explain it in English very clearly. I appreciate that he always asks if I have anything in specific I would like to review, because I frequently have topics that I would like to learn more about. Generally he goes above and beyond to help his learners, and for this reason, I would rate Andy a 10/10. I definitely plan on booking more lessons with him.
