Ph.D. with 17+ years of experience teaches ESL and SSL to schoolers and adults. All my life I have been trained "to be the best teacher" and "help students achieve their goals", so, I did my best. I worked for 5 years in secondary and high school, where I taught English, South Slavic language(s) and literature. Then, I worked for a while as an Expert Associate in the Education Research at the Methodology Department of Faculty of Sport. As an artist and cultural activist I led numerous educational workshops and lectured at different kinds of institutions, schools, universities, galleries, museums, so I have extensive experience at various teaching methods for learners of different backgrounds and ages. As you probably already know, until Yugoslav wars in the 90s, Bosnian, Croatian and Serbian were taught in schools as one language, Serbo-Croatian. So, these 3 languages share the same grammar. They differ only in a small number of words.

Certified TEFL & TESOL teacher ; English and Serbian teacher since 2013 😊 I try to let students talk as much as possible because speaking practice is what most people need. I create a google document for each student and type everything that we do/say during the class. I ask a lot of questions and wait patiently until you answer - after that I provide grammar and pronunciation corrections and suggest different words you could have used and type it all in the document. You can access it anytime, add your own words or translations and do your homework there, it's like a virtual notebook.
