Carefully planned courses for an entire year in advance. Relax, study, and I'll take the lead! I'm observant of my students; it's priority to create an appropriate environment for learning. It's easy to explain grammar or word meaning. What's more challenging (and a real beauty of my job) is finding a way to explain it to individual people in a way they can understand. Some students want to learn a language but are really uncomfortable with terms like noun, adjective, conjugation, or declination. Others are nervous because it's their first time learning anything online. Some believe they are too old to learn and think that all is lost. Each of them gets a special approach from me. The one thing absolutely everyone needs is lots of patience.
