This lesson will give you the opportunity to practice your speaking skills whilst talking about any topic you would like. I am incredibly open minded so no topic is off limits. During the lesson I can correct any grammatical mistakes, help you express yourself more naturally, help you build your range of vocabulary and most importantly help you build your confidence.

You can choose any grammar point that you find difficult. I will carefully explain it to you in as much detail as you would like and I will also set you exercises so we can check your understanding.

Grammar Lesson.

This lesson is for students who would like to learn how to speak with a neutral British accent.

In each language from around the world particular letters are pronounced differently, emphasised or even completely absent from the alphabet. Due to this, as well as varying intonation, we can often guess the nationality of somebody whilst they speak English.

If you book this lesson I will identify the areas you need to improve on and teach you how to speak either more neutrally or with a British accent. During the first lesson we will have a casual conversation, which with your permission I will record, so that I am able to analyse your speech in greater detail later on. Alternatively you can record yourself reading out a text and send it to me.  Within 4 days I will send you a summary explaining which letters you have difficult pronouncing and any other aspects that are preventing you from sounding like a native.

In the following lessons I will help you overcome these difficulties.

If you are struggling to complete a homework assignment for school I can help you. I will not just tell you the answers but will explain anything you don't understand and equip you with the skills and knowledge to complete the task independently.

I can also proofread any written work. I will correct any mistakes and also offer alternative ways of saying things to make it sound more natural and advanced.
