If you already studied Italian in the past, in this trial lesson we will have an informal conversation in Italian (approximately 15 minutes long) to assess your level. Most importantly, we can get to know each other! In the second part of the trial lesson, you will have the opportunity to explain your goals and needs. You can do this either in Italian, or in English. After that, I will suggest a learning plan and method for you. If you are an absolute beginner in Italian, please notice that the informal conversation at the beginning of the trial lesson can be conducted in English/German/Spanish/Dutch/French (these are the languages that I speak) depending on your mother tongue. This is a general Italian course covering all four of the important skills: listening, speaking, reading, and writing. You can take the course if you are an absolute beginner or if you are already proficient in Italian, as I offer customized learning paths according to your level. You will learn speaking and using the language, but also building up a solid knowledge of the grammar, so you can progress to the next level. Students improve fluency and expand their knowledge of vocabulary using materials taken from a variety of sources such as literature, newspapers and magazines, music, film and the internet.

DITALS I is an official certificate awarded by the “Università per Stranieri di Siena”, Italy, that assesses the theoretical and practical qualifications in the field of teaching Italian to foreigners. I took the exam in November 2021, and I got the results this month. I passed the exam with final mark 82/100.
