In order to teach Turkish in Turkiye, all you need is a certificate -sometimes not even this! Even though I got the certificate back in 2019, I wanted to take a step further and pursue a Master's in Teaching Turkish as a Foreign Language. Throughout my education, I created several book units and digital materials which I use in my classes.

I participated in a conference held by the Ministry of National Education and presented my project related to the field.

I also worked as an English teacher at a private university in my country and I'm still working as a teacher.

I use various books and materials along with digital ones. While using books as the main material, I integrate authentic news, reading books, and social media accounts. I always recommend Turkish songs, movies, series, and so forth to my students for them to be a part of the Turkish-speaking community.

I form online vocabulary lists allowing my students to use the words they've learned in sentences and better track their progress along with Word documents for writing homework. I check the assignments in my spare time to avoid wasting our class time.
