This lesson is available for anybody who wants to improve their English skills specifically for business purposes. My lessons will focus on key areas of language for practical business use, which will include phone conversations, email etiquette, letters/invoices, sharing ideas at a conference, business meetings, and more. I will integrate elements of grammar into the lessons, but fundamentally this is a practical lesson to give you experience and knowledge of how to sound confident and professional in the workplace.

Business English

If you are preparing for the IELTS exam or any Cambridge Assessment Exams, this is a good lesson for you. The lesson will include preparing for all parts of the tests with practice papers, activities, and other exercises. I will help you to use the four skills of listening, reading, writing, and speaking. In addition, I will identify grammar weaknesses and help you to correct them. Whether you are preparing for the academic or general test in IELTS, I will help you to improve your standard and build stronger skills so that you can confidently feel prepared to sit your test.

IELTS/Test Preparation

I love good conversation, and I have plenty of material and enthusiasm to help you with your conversational English and enjoy my lessons. Depending on what you like to talk about, I will find items of news, articles, and other materials that you are interested in, that can stimulate good discussion. The focus will be on your speaking skills, but I will also integrate grammar and help you to improve generally. We can also cover informal/formal phrases, idioms, pronunciation, and more to help you feel confident when speaking and using English.

Conversation English

Do you want to learn how to use English in a healthcare setting, and are you a medical professional who needs to improve your English? If so, this lesson will be excellent for you. I was a registered nurse for many years in the UK. I can help you understand the typical dialogue you will need to use and understand in this environment, including key vocabulary relating to medical issues. I can also help you prepare for your OET exams with original materials, role-play cards for speaking, and templates for writing referral letters.
