Trial Lesson - A chance for us to get to know each other and see how we can work together! We will discuss your learning goals, previous experience of the language, and what teaching methods are likely to work for you. Of course, trial lessons are also an opportunity for us to start working together on your learning goals, be it conversation, grammar, vocabulary or a mixture.

A chance to talk about a range of topics: Wales/Welsh culture, hobbies, language learning, news/current affairs, or whatever else floats your boat!

I can certainly offer some amount of grammar teaching in these classes. As we talk, we may identify specific areas of grammar you need to focus on, and we can certainly spend time going over that, and I can provide you with exercises. But note that these classes are for those who want to focus primarily on conversation, improving grammar/vocabulary as we talk. If you would like structured grammar lessons (with homework, regular review etc.), please choose the grammar/vocabulary class. With this class, I can guarantee regular homework and a personalised learning plan. We can of course practice conversation as well in grammar classes.

Welsh Grammar/Vocabulary - improve your understanding of Welsh grammar and boost your vocabulary with lessons tailored around your needs!

These are structured grammar lessons with regular homework and a personalised learning plan. Most pupils like me to set homework, but I can adjust this based on how much time you have available for study - you may not want any homework at all. I offer a laid-back approach for those who want to study at a more relaxed pace, and a more structured approach for those looking for faster progress!

🐉✍️Welsh Grammar/Vocabulary✨🎉

This option is for either: 
1) Special Grammar/Vocabulary lessons - grammar lessons, but with personalised exercises. I will note your grammatical weaknesses, and will provide personalised exercises to target these areas. With this option, you can also message me with grammar questions outside of lessons.  (As many as you like, but I will write a maximum of 1,000 characters per lesson in responding to your questions). 
2) Special Conversation lessons - I will take detailed notes on your strengths and weaknesses, including errors, and send these to you in a document at the end of each lesson. I can also provide targeted grammar exercises based on this analysis.
3) Anki lessons -  We can spend a lesson revising whatever you want/need using Anki. (We can of course use Anki in other types of lesson as well.) 

You can also just send me a message if you want to work on a specific thing(s) in the lesson. For example, if you'd like to spend a lesson just honing a certain skill, do let me know. This could be broad skills (mutations, pronunciation) or specific skills (e.g. the soft mutation; pronunciation of vowel combinations like AE/EI/WY and so on.)

I am trialling this as a new, cheaper lesson format. Book this lesson if you want a *casual* one-off lesson for:
- A chat about Wales/Welsh 
- Answers to specific Welsh questions
- Something else that doesn't fit the other lesson types!
