Italki French teacher in Creative Writing and French Literature I am an attentive and enthusiastic person and teacher. I like to be natural and to follow my passions. Native speaker, I studied French Literature for many years and I have been writing French stories since I was ten. I speak English almost every day, I read and I write poetry and music in English. I deeply enjoy teaching, because I love to meet my students, to share knowledge, to help them, to discover their passions, to mix arts in order to create a nice lesson together! Speak French confidently : conversation, grammar & French literature for curious learners I hold a master’s degree in international relations, and during my bachelor’s studies in liberal arts, I explored French and English literature, linguistics, grammar, and the history of languages, as well as several ancient languages. Living abroad for several years allowed me to meet students and friends from many backgrounds — and helping them with French naturally became my passion. That’s what inspired me to join italki: to share the beauty and logic of the French language with learners around the world.

Learning to Speak, Speaking to Learn Most students I meet on italki look for an online teacher because they want to be able to actually speak French, and not just “learn things about the French language”. My view is that when teaching a language, speaking should always have the highest priority. I know that eventually my students want to learn French to engage in meaningful conversations and enjoy doing it. And I know that for that, they need a pronunciation that people will praise them for, they need to say things the right way (which means using the right grammar and syntax), overall they need to feel confident about their French, and they need a lot of speaking practice.
