Which one is correct, why?
1- Enjoy your vacation. I ____ you have a great time.
a. Hope
b. Wish
2- Good luck in your new job. I ____ it works out well for you.
a. Hope
b. Wish
I wish somebody something (luck / a happy day/ all the best etc.)
But you cannot say I wish that something happens. We use hope in this situation.
