I would say it sounds more natural to say “Vin Diesel is one of my favorite actors” or “To me, Vin Diesel is one of the best actors.” You usually don’t need to specify that someone is a “movie actor” and you can just say actor. You may need to specify if someone is a Broadway or stage actor, however. “In my opinion, the films done in 2000 were more interesting and real THAN the new ones.” You are setting up a comparison, “X is better than Z” “X is more interesting than Z.” I hope these corrections were helpful!
