How to chat with the Teacher I want to learn with
Hi everyone,

I've just signed up for this site and don't know what to do next, i.e. how to chat with the Teacher before I start any lesson, how to pay for my lessons, how long a lesson lasts, etc.

Could any of you help me with this?
Thank you so much!

Here you can find all information on payment and scheduling classes: https://support.italki.com/hc/en-us;

The standard length of a lesson is 60 minutes but some teachers also offer 30, 45 and 90 minute sessions.

Choose a teacher of you’re liking and then send them a message, describing your level, your learning goals, what kind of classes you’re interested in (e.g. conversation, test preparation, pronunciation). After the teacher accepts you as a student, you can book a trial class.

Glad to hear that it works now. I'm a student but I study other languages not English. Being active on italki has helped me a lot to improve in my target languages.

Are you using the app or the website? In both you have to look for the sign of the speech bubble. (next to the heart). If you click on that, you should be able to send the teacher a message.
