Hi Alina, Very good! These are good sentences to practice. There are different ways to use this form of grammar. Here are my corrections. #5. can't doesn't quite sound right. I would use 'They couldn't have had a very good time. #7. You must have walked here very quickly (or fast). #8. Bill and Sue. Correct. You could also say 'so they must have plenty of money. #9 Ted isn't at work today. He must be ill. #10 correct #13 Look! Ted...He must be going out. #14...my bike..and now it is gone. Somebody (or someone) must have stolen it. #15. Amy... It couldn't have been easy for her. Or - It must have been difficult for her. #20 Dave... He must not have seen me. #21... cafe. He must have been waiting for somebody (or someone) #22 Luz... She must not have understood me. #23 spelling error - lock it. #25. red light... The driver must not have seen it. Good job Alina. You're doing great. The first sentence must match the second sentence in past tense, present tense and future tense. Plus singular and plural. Not always easy, even for native speakers, especially when we are in a rush to say something. I hope this helps. Tom
