Writing a formal letter - CAE C1 Dear Sir or Madam, I am writing with reference to the article which appeared the last 10th of June, to express my dissapointment with the reporter's opinion. To begin with, the arts day did not have as purpose to attract the whole city, just those people who were interested in the same topic, such as promoters and amateurs. I want to point out that the event was sponsored, in part, by themselves, so there was no waste of borough council's money. One of the artist won a contest not long ago, in the USA, but he did not agree with the idea to make it public. This may have been the reason why some thought it could not be a simple gate money. According to the respective article, youngsters weren't drawn by the activities carried out there, which is completely wrong. There is a formed organization that includes both artists and people's opinion about the previous performances. Anyone can find it on our blog an vote. Until today, almost 95% of the users who attended the show are utterly satisfied with it. In addition, even children with their parents came round and joined the exhibitions in charge of our qualified team. A huge amount of educational pictures were on display, but not without explaining each one of them before. In light of the above, I would appreciate if you will print visitors' experiences posted on the blog I will mention at the end of this letter. I felt I was entitled to express my support to this organization, which has fought so much for only one reason: to light up a blind society using talent as a means. Dear Sir or Madam,

I am writing with reference to the article which appeared on the 10th of June, to express my dissappointment/disagreement with the reporter's opinion.

To begin with, the arts day was not designed to attract the whole city, just those people who were interested in the same topic, such as promoters and amateurs.

I want to point out that the event was sponsored, in part, by themselves, so there was no waste of the borough council's money. One of the artists won a contest not long ago, in the USA, but he did not agree with the idea to make/of making it public. This may have been the reason why some thought it could not be a simple gate money. (I'm not sure what you want to say, This may have been the reason why some thought it could not be financed by an entrance fee)

According to the respective article, youngsters were not drawn/attracted by the activities carried out there, which is completely wrong. There is a formed an organization (or you could say - An organization has been formed, or maybe just, there is an online survey) which includes the opinions of both artists and visitors opinion about the previous performances. Anyone can find it on our blog and vote. Currently, almost 95% of the people who attended the show were utterly/completely/totally satisfied with it.

In addition, even children with their parents came round/came along and joined in the exhibitions in charge of supervised by our qualified team. A huge amount of educational pictures were on display, but not without explaining each one of them before/with clear explanations of each exhibit.

In light of the above, I would appreciate it if you printed visitors' experiences posted on the blog I will mention at the end of this letter.
I felt I was entitled to express my support for this organization, which has fought so much for only one reason: to light up/enlighten a blind society using talent as a means.

I am looking forward to receiving an answer, and thank you for considering my point of view.
