Yes absolutely, there is . Roasted is when you put a large piece of meat e.g. a whole chicken a beef topside, silverside, into a pan with a little fat and maybe some vegetables and bake in the oven at 180 deg C for some time (according to the weight of the meat). Grilled can be over a flame like at a barbecue or another heat source like inside your oven. The meat may be basted but basically it is a dry form of cooking and does not necessarily require added fat/oil. Fried, on the other hand, is cooking something on the stove (the top part of your cooker) using fat of some sort like oil or butter. You can fry an egg on the stove, you can deep fry (this uses a lot of oil) potatoes to make crisps (french fries), you can also fry crumbed pieces of chicken or mushrooms or other vegetables in shallow fat/oil. I could go on about this for a while. Would you like some recipes too?
