How to say TENER PUENTE / HAY UN PUENTE (meaning days off) in English? When we have a Monday and a Tuesdays off for instance, we say: TENEMOS PUENTE. In other words, it means we have some days off that makes our weekend longer. Is there any way to say it in English? I.e: Como la semana que viene TENEMOS PUENTE, Silvia y yo nos vamos de viaje. As next week we will "have a bridge", Silvia and I are going on a trip. I know have a bridge might make no sense, wondering how to say it in English. Thank you!

In the UK we normally call it a 'bank holiday weekend'. https://www.gov.uk/bank-holidays

We'd call this a 'long weekend'. This refers to any weekend where you have a day off on one of the days next to the usual weekend (e.g. Monday or Friday, or potentially Monday and Tuesday).
