Hi Dau Where did you read the sentence "to have a drink of something"? In English you say "to drink something" or "to have something to drink". Kind regards Karen

“Would you like to drink something?” Used when you feel someone may need liquid to makes them feel better, like after heavy exercise. “Would you like something to drink” tends to mean a beverage in general, more for pleasure. “Would you like a drink of something” is commonly used when offering an alcoholic beverage.
