It was a good follow From the movie "Glass" In the beginning David Dunn punishes some guys that has beaten a man. During this one of the guys said he would "Salt Bae" his ass. Later David having a conversation wit his son Joseph about this case. D: They bumped into me at the subway. Can't just let 'em go, Joseph. J: Weren't you on a specified walk? D: You can't run this like the store. It's potluck. J: All things come second when we're on a specified walk. Hey, it was a good follow, though. "Salt Bae your ass". What a douche. What is "a follow" here?

If i remember rightly, DD gets images from peopl he comes into contact with, then follows them to see what they are up to/where they live/hide. On the 'walk' in question, DD touches and gets the images of bad deeds, so follows the guy he touched. This was 'a good follow' as it resulted in finding some bad guys.

Good question. I'm not sure. It might be some sort of dialect or slang, but I've never heard of it. However, there is a way to look at this. What is a 'specified walk'? This is presumably something which has specific meaning in this story? It has no specific meaning in everyday English. So if 'a walk' can be something different in this context, perhaps 'a follow' also has specific meaning which is explained in the context of the story?
