How to say "Do you ever cook?" in Chinese? Hi Everyone, i have a sentence which I am struggling to translate into Chinese. Does anyone way know how to best express this the following differences in Chinese? - Have you ever cooked (你做过饭了吗?) - Do you often cook? (你经常做饭吗?) - Do you ever cook? (这个句子我不知道怎么翻译) - 意思是你有个做饭的习惯吗, ’你常做饭吗‘是不对的因为这个说法强调“经常”. In replying to this question, you may answer "Not often" or "Every 2 days", or "Oh yes, I love to cook all the time" 从这些回答,你可以看英文的问题是更中立的 Thanks for your help!

Hi. I'm from China. "Do you ever cook? I think it should be translated into Chinese as “你曾做过饭吗?”, which means" can you cook dishes?" Hope this answer would be a little helpful.

Do you have the habit of cooking?

Do you ever cook? It means asking a person whether he or she has an experience in cooking, it doesn't matter if he or she could or not cook. 所以我建议翻译为“你曾经做过饭吗?”
