Hello Lilied, This idiom is used in specific situations only when knowing about something in particular might worry a person , like hearing bad news about someone you love , not knowing it would be better, so in that case "ignorance is bliss". However in general knowledge and good education are rather bliss.

People say that ignorance is bliss; some argue that what you don't know can't hurt you… but is this really the case? What happens when you do find out the truth, does the bliss remain, or does it melt away into a vague memory to be replaced by something quite the opposite? As an example, a friend of mine was involved in a relationship where all her friends could see that her boyfriend was cheating on her; yet she refused to believe it. Inside she knew what he was doing, though she was happy living the illusion. Seeing this made me wonder: How often do we pretend to be ignorant to avoid facing up to the consequences that go hand in hand with reality? Pursuing truth carries the risk that revelations will not be pleasant, which seems to be the case here. There is no joy in finding out that someone you love has gone and broken the trust that you thought you shared with them

Hi. It should be "bliss", instead of "bless". They say ingnorance is bliss because sometimes it's easier not to be burdened by the worries and responsibilities which accompany certain knowledge. For example, a child, who does not know that her parents just lost their jobs and might loose thier home, can continue to pay happily and worry-free. But if the parents burden the child with the knowledge and seriousness of the situation, then the child may be to worried to play happily.

Hello Lilied Ignorance : If you (don't know) you won't be able to talk about it. Then if you don't talk about it you will not be bother you... So in a way you will be bless( this is a connotation with the church)
