What does "vibe" mean in this context? I was watching a youtube video, and someone is trying to paint her nails. She's not sure about the color of the polish, so she decides to paint her pinky first to test it out, and says "**If I'm vibing with this,** I will continue to put it on all of my fingers. If I'm not, I'm going to just go clear..." Does "vibe" mean "like" in this context? I hear vibe a lot these days in a lot of different contexts and the meaning of it is still not so clear to me. Thanks in advance for your answer!

It means "good vibrations" - she feels good about doing it

In this context "If I'm vibing with this" means, If I feel this is the right color. Basically it means she is agreeing with the color that she chose, she feels like it's the right one. A vibe is a feeling. Check out my Professional Teacher profile www.italki.com/teacherhelpme

"to vibe with" is kind of slang to say that you like something. It's pretty popular slang amongst young people right now. My friend who is a high school teacher showed me the feedback a student wrote about him, where he wrote "Mr X is cool, I was able to vibe with him." In this context it can also mean get along with someone or relate to someone. If you just use "vibe" by itself, it means similar to atmosphere/feeling. E.g. "I like the vibe of the restaurant"

In this context I'd say yes. If she likes the colour of the polish she's going to continue with the rest of her nails. It's an informal expression, one used (I expect) exclusively by younger people.
