One thing I'll add about this context... I think this is from a Spiderman movie maybe? The speaker sounds like he's cutting himself off here. He might be saying "green" or maybe "greed" or another word that starts with "gree." It sounds like he's scared or ashamed to say whatever the full "gree-" word is. As Jazz said, he definitely might be saying green (money). Paper money in the United States is a green color. People used to call our money "greenbacks." It's slang to call it green. An urban person might say, "Get that green" to mean "Get some money." So he's probably talking about money but for some reason he cuts himself off from saying the full word so he might be talking about something else a person was addicted to that starts "gree-". Or maybe he's ashamed to say someone is addicted to money.
