I specialise in teaching adults IELTS, TOEFL and conversational English.
Studying for IELTS or learning a new language will challenge you, so to help you achieve, I push you outside your comfort zone. I provide work outside classes, but it's not the usual "fill in the blanks in this book". I offer you IELTS essays and then grade these on my own time.
I believe in total honesty, so if I feel that you are doing well in a particular area, I will let you know, equally where you struggle in one specific area, I target your lessons to where you will most benefit. I have always loved teaching, and seeing my students accomplish their goals allows me to share their pleasure. I enjoy tutoring IELTS classes, as well as conversational and written English. I only teach adults, but that doesn't mean if you book an English grammar class, wish to increase your vocabulary, or have me check an essay you've written, it has to be boring.
I make sure you learn at a speed you're comfortable with, engaging with lessons that are relevant to you and teaching you what you want to learn. Jack is the perfect teacher for your IELTS journey!!!
Well! I think it is reasonable to tell people that after he has helped me to achieve an 8 overall band score in IELTS.
I started learning IELTS on ITALKI in January 2022 and my aim was 8.0 OB, and before meeting Jack, I had tried to study with at least 7 other professional teachers. Unfortunately, I kept failing and failing in IELTS (3 attempts with repeating results of 7.5 OB and the disappearance of quite some money), and I was desperate. I thought that I could never achieve my dream and I would be stuck at 7.5 overall forever.
However, exactly 3 months ago, I got my 1st lesson with Jack, and you know what? That lesson was game-changing and incredible. He is always supportive and believes in me even when I don’t believe in myself. Not just that, Jack is real deal about IELTS as he takes IELTS every 6 months to update his strategies as well as making sure that his lessons are perfectly beneficial for his students.
