I am 55 and live near Cambridge with my husband and two grown up children. I have been learning Italian for three years now and enjoy the process learning one to one. I enjoy many hobbies including embroidery, drawing, gardening and cooking. I love to visit new places and meet all sorts of different people. Everyone has a story.Ich als Lehrkraft
While I have been learning Italian, I realised how difficult it can be to progress with speaking a foreign language. It can be nerve wracking and so when I teach conversational English, I will make sure that the student feels relaxed and I will emphasise that there is no rush to get the right word or phrase out.
While I have no formal teaching qualifications, I have college level education and speak with no accent.Meine Stunden und mein Unterrichtsstil
My lessons will be informal, fun and I have lots of patience. I will start by asking the student about themselves and work on building up a strategy of learning by using their interests and hobbies. They can also ask me about my life and day to day activities or, if they are more advanced, we can talk about current affairs, history, politics etc.5.0
