I have worked in manufacturing, shipping, and receiving for 30 years. My experience includes sales and financial services. My post-secondary education has been in anthropology and theology. During my lessons, you will be corrected on pronunciation and grammar. We will discuss how much correction is best for you. Sometimes it is best to correct mistakes right away and sometimes to evaluate problems at the end. I try my best to find the correct balance and give the student what he wants. It's been a while for me to have a deep conversation with someone with unique perspectives on many business and political issues. Doug is an educated, insightful and amiable teacher who speaks with confidence and cohesion, certainly an expert in creating a classroom conducive to an inspiring exchange of ideas and well-flowed conversations. I'm glad to have found such a great teacher!

Doug is a good teacher. He encouraged me to keep going. I would have preferred just a little flexibility with the minutes that happened to be lost, but I was comfortable with it and recommend it.
