Hi there!
My name is Arlene. I am from Puerto Rico. I am fluent in Spanish and English and I am learning Portuguese. I had a 26-year career in the areas of public communication, recruitment, and international programs.
Now , I love teaching languages, helping people prepare for job interviews, and sharing practices that help us connect to the body and the environment to reduce nervousness.
I enjoy simplicity, nature, and activities that help me stay more present in my body such as qigong and somatic meditation. My favorite book is The Alchemist.Ich als Lehrkraft

I greatly appreciate the opportunity to have Arlene as my teacher. She is excellent in her teaching in every way I can think. She listens intently and, as we converse, Arlene types out sentences of particular interest we are using on a screen. She encourages by recording of the lessons. She corrects my pronunciation and gives me alternative responses to questions. She is intelligent, worldy and yet very personal and agreeable. I have had 800 lessons with her and really enjoy them all. I recommend her as a teacher and beleve you cannot do better in this process of learning Spanish. Working with her represents a great opportunity to enjoy the process of learning.
