Hello. I'm Akiko. I'm from Japan. I live in Hiroshima with my family. I like reading histrical novels, doing Jazzercise and yoga. I also like cooking. I cook for my family everyday. I have experience teaching Japanese to students from all over the world at a Japanese language school for three and a half years. It is said that Japanese is more difficult to write and grammar than other languages. But I'm confident to explain it simpler and easire to understand. I was teaching Japanese to international students from all over the world. I was mainly in charge of beginner and intermediate grammar and conversation classes. All lessons are direct method. 15 to 20 students per class.

Recently we've moved from a more casual lesson style to a more structured lesson style in preparation for taking the JLPT, specifically focusing on grammar.
Akki-Sensei is always well prepared with example exam questions, grammatical explanations and supplementary news articles that show the grammar in a real world context.
Furthermore, grammar is an area which is often very difficult to explain, but her explanations and answers to my questions are quite clear and easy to understand.
