I am a passionate person who loves to read and learn new things. I love fantasy, but I’ll read almost anything I can get my hands on. I’m a classic Hufflepuff, all about that hard work and loyalty. I’m also an idealist and a nerd. I love hiking, camping and being places that are green. I’m a recent college graduate looking for my life’s calling. I majored in psychology and minored in Asian Studies. I studied abroad in Japan for a year, and hold a great love for the country and people. I am continuing my own language learning in Japanese, and hope to learn a few more languages in my life time. I also just moved from Hawaii to Washington D.C. in June 2022.

Ich als Lehrkraft

I’m a flexible teacher who promotes active and collaborative learning. I take into account both environment and the individual students needs. I’m a cheerful and gregarious person which reflects in my teaching. I usually take a more relaxed and casual teaching manner, but I can take on a more authoritative role if need be. Over-all I’m a student centered and adaptable teacher.

Meine Stunden und mein Unterrichtsstil

I like to learn about what interests my students and work with them to find the best way to construct lessons and orientate their learning to suit them. I have a very verbose talking style. I’d liken it to a thesaurus where I can cycle through words and definitions until more than adequate comprehension is reached. While I can ramble on usually I speak quite clearly and with I also have a West American accent, which is easy to understand.
