My name's Piskareva Evgenia. I'm from Russia. I currently live in my hometown of Kaluga. I am fond of English culture, especially British films. My hobby is Chinese tea ceremonies, I have good knowledge of different types of tea. Drinking tea helps foster a positive life attitude. I've been following a healthy lifestyle already for more than 10 years.
For several years I worked in an elite travel company in Moscow. I consider this a very valuable experience for foreign language teachers, as I have visited many countries all around the world. It expanded my horizons and I was lucky to learn a lot of interesting things about the culture and everyday life of people in other countries.
Ich als Lehrkraft
In 1994 I graduated from the Kaluga State Pedagogical University named after Tsiolkovsky. Speciality - teacher of English and German languages of secondary school, diploma with honours. I've worked mostly with English. I've been teaching English since 1995. I worked as an interpreter, in language schools and as a private tutor. I teach both academic and business courses. I prefer to work with adults and teenagers, as they are very often motivated to study, although I have previously worked with elementary school students and in a private kindergarten. I specialize in teaching beginner, elementary and pre-intermediate level students.
Meine Stunden und mein Unterrichtsstil
My lessons are dynamic and varied. I always start my classes with warm-up exercises. This is very important as it helps students switch from the events of their everyday life to English classes and create a learning mood. At almost every lesson I use vocabulary or grammar games, we often sing English songs according to the student's preferences, because songs help to understand the melody of the language. I actively use podcasts, story-telling. My teaching style is democratic. I believe that a person should feel comfortable during the lesson, this is the key to success in any training.
