My name is Daniel, and I am from Nigeria.
I currently live in Kyiv, Ukraine. I enjoy communication; it is the best way to broaden your horizons while living on a small part of this big planet. I have not travelled a lot, but I have been so fortunate to learn about so many places as I help students here improve their speaking ability. My appreciation for culture and nuance in life experiences has increased greatly cos I have communicated with people from different parts of the world with different opinions, and I have learned a great deal from them. I have been teaching for about eight years. I have led speaking clubs and had individual/group lessons in English. I currently teach people of all levels. My mother is also a teacher, and growing up, I watched her a lot and observed how good she felt when a student got better. I always want that feeling. It's a rewarding feeling. Teaching is also a way to expose myself to other cultures and lifestyles. I have been teaching in my city for a while, and I have put in work to be good at what I do. I think I'm also a lot of fun. My lessons are catered to meet the needs of each student. I am capable of teaching grammar with necessary materials if that's what you need. I particularly enjoy speaking and conversations because it helps fluency and accuracy. I try to get my students comfortable so they feel free to discuss anything and ask any questions. My main goal is for you to see me as a pal and not someone judging your language skill, instead as someone helping you reach your goal, so i guess Guru is the right word :). I want you to be able to have a conversation without any feeling of pressure. I like our lessons to feel like friends meeting for drinks or coffee where one gets paid (that was a joke)Mein Unterrichtsmaterial

Daniel is a great teacher and is tutoring my son for about 3 years now. My son enjoys the lessons very much. They laugh a lot, and have an interesting conversations every time. Due to the lessons with Daniel, English became a favorite lesson at school.

Daniel es el mejor profe de inglés que te puedes echar en cara. Un tipo culto, tranquilo, con una escucha activa de 10, un acento perfectamente entendible y que crea un ambiente genial para el aprendizaje. Ha sido una fortuna encontrarlo en Italki.
