Hello, guys! I'm Zhanna and I’m originally from Kazakhstan. Ten years ago, I came to Istanbul to gain a master's degree in translation and interpreting. Since then, I’ve obtained experience not only as an interpreter but as a tutor. Back in my university years, I discovered a talent for teaching when I was giving Russian lessons to my groupmates, who were passionate about the language.Therefore, I decided to finish relevant education, at the end of which I was given a certificate that allowed me to teach professionally and required me to do an internship at one of the local schools, which I did.My students always inspire me to think out of the box and be even more enthusiastic about teaching

Back in my teaching internship year, I've come about to learn how to make my students more attracted to the subject by communicating with them, which was the most exciting part for me as a tutor. I tried to understand each student by asking for their personal opinion on daily ongoings, thus having a sincere curiosity about their current activities. My teaching methods were based on each student’s individuality and learning behaviors. This exciting journey indeed made me feel like it was the exact thing that brought me joy and passion. I was in charge of giving lessons in General Russian, General English, and General Turkish, Turkish speaking clubs for English and Russian speakers.

My lessons are constantly fun and, most importantly, productive. During our sessions, you'll be feeling safe and comfortable, as I'm always aware of students' needs and study goals. Each time you will be provided with a variety of opportunities to practice speaking and developing language confidence and communication skills. You should know that my priority is to help you in discovering new languages and achieving your goals!
