Diego Ojea

Diego always prepares lessons that work specifically for me. For me, I want to talk and tell stories and hear stories (in other words, have a conversation, which quickly illuminates what I don't know how to say), which then leads us to a lesson and homework relevant to our initial conversation.

For 2-3 months, Diego has helped me practice Spanish to prepare for walking the Camino de Santiago. When I went on the trip, I was able to communicate effectively along the camino in albergues, shops, restaurants, and with other peregrinos. This preparation made my trip so much more fulfilling and transformative, and I'm very grateful to be one of Diego's students! Even though my trip is over, I'm looking forward to taking more lessons so that I can keep talking to others, reading and writing, and listening to Spanish media. I recommend Diego to anyone looking to learn Spanish in a fun and friendly way that will boost your confidence and make you love the language.

Had a fantastic lessons with Diego! He is a great teacher, showing a great deal of patience, offering detailed explanations, all the while being easy to talk to. He adapted the lesson perfectly to my level of Spanish, and we covered a range of interesting topics. I learned lots of new expressions, vocabulary, and gained some interesting insights on the development of Spanish as a language. Also, his teaching approach is very positive and motivating, as he points out any mistakes in a helpful, constructive way. I will definitely schedule more lessons!

I found the class difficult but very rewarding. But I do find that these classes the best. The classes teach me new things but also point out areas that need improvement. The homework helps me focus on specific areas. Thank you Diego !
