I live in Tokyo and enjoy hiking, reading, traveling. My favorite part about iTalki is learning about the world through conversations with my students. Especially passionate about quirks of Norwegian pronunciation, such as pitch accent and retroflex consonants - ask me!

The most important thing for me is that you feel completely comfortable and free to do as many mistakes as you can - that's the best way to build confidence in your speaking abilities! Forgetting words, long thinking pauses, or to mispronounce words - all of that is part of learning a new language, and with me as a teacher you get a space to improve your speaking abilities without worrying about such things.

I am offering conversation lessons. I want to give you an opportunity to practice real, natural Norwegian though talking about things that are relevant to you.
Norwegian learners from upper-beginner level are welcome, as long as you know the basics and feel ready to begin speaking. Speaking well is not a requirement - it's the end goal!
Please note that this is not a Norwegian from scratch course. I am more than happy to discuss grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation and so on with you - and many of my students like to make a shared document where we can write down example sentences and correct mistakes, which I highly encourage - but the basic format of the lessons are conversation-style.Mein Unterrichtsmaterial
